Dr. Tiina Oviir is truly an outstanding endodontist. Her impressive academic background and extensive clinical experience shine through in every aspect of her care. Her years of teaching at the University of Washington Dental School’s Endodontics Department are clearly reflected in the way she communicates—she is articulate, approachable, and ensures that every step of the process is explained in a clear and reassuring manner. During my visit, I was initially concerned that a late-afternoon appointment might feel rushed. Instead, Dr. Oviir took all the time needed to make me comfortable, answer my many questions, and carefully explain each stage of the procedure. Her calm, thorough approach immediately put me at ease. Her staff deserves equal praise—they are warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, creating an environment that feels both supportive and highly professional. From start to finish, Dr. Oviir and her team exemplify the very best of patient care. They set a true standard of excellence in endodontics, and I could not recommend them more highly.

Excellent, knowledgeable. Dr. Oviir was not certain I needed her services at this time and did not try to sell me on something as such. She worked with me regarding previous X-Rays, such that I did not need to subject myself to additional radiation or additional fees. I asked her advice regarding other dental matters, which she expertly obliged, confirming my continued dental path. She and her staff are exceptional.

Very kind and considerate, I felt very comfortable and it was clear they cared about what I wanted and what made me comfortable. The Dr was kind, and explained things well. She even called to check on me the next day. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs dental work.

I had two root canals done this week! Quick service for my pain and Oviir would not work on me until I felt nothing (I told her to just get it over with because of my pain). She had complete empathy for pain. And both assistants were top notch. Thank you for taking on a hard to treat patient and making me feel safe and cared for at all times.
